Dear Consultant:

 

The County of Sacramento Department of Environmental Review and Assessment (DERA) is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental consultants for on-call services for the preparation of environmental documents pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

 

The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish contracts with a short list of environmental consultant(s) for the purpose of assisting DERA in the preparation of CEQA/NEPA documentation on an as-needed basis as dictated by DERA’s workload. Establishing these on-call contracts will facilitate the timely assignment of future projects to the selected consultant(s). No more than three environmental consultants will be selected. Each consultant contract amount will not exceed $150,000 and will be in effect for a period of three years.

 

The attached RFP provides a full description of the scope of work, assignment of work, and required contents of the proposal.

 

If you are interested, please submit your proposal for on-call consulting services for the preparation of environmental documents to DERA at the location specified below by 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 10, 2008. We expect to select consultant(s) by December 1, 2008.
