SUBJECT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR ON-CALL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR CULTURAL RESOURCE ANALYSES
Dear Consultant:
The County of Sacramento Department of Environmental Review and Assessment (DERA) is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants for on-call consulting services for cultural resource analyses required by the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to establish contracts with a short list of qualified consultants, for the purpose of assisting DERA in short order and on an as-needed basis, to conduct cultural resource surveys and evaluations as required by CEQA and/or NEPA. The subject on-call contracts will facilitate the timely assignment of projects to cultural resource consultants, whose services will be dictated by DERA’s workload and by the consultants’ areas of expertise, in order to help expedite the processing of projects and meet the requirements of CEQA and/or NEPA. No more than four cultural resource consultants will be selected. Each consultant contract amount will not exceed $100,000 and will be in effect for a period of three years.
The attached RFP provides a full description of the scope of work, assignment of work, and required contents of the proposal.
